El-Kanemi to replace Vincent Enyeama in Africa Cup of Nations

El-Kanemi Warriors goalkeeper David Obiazor, has been given a surprise late invitation to the Nigerian camp as they prepare for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Congo and South Africa.
Obiazor replaces Lille OSC and Nigeria first-choice goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, who withdrew citing family matters.
Nigeria head coach Stephen Keshi broke the news and choice of handing a call to Obiazor on Tuesday.
He explained that the El-Kanemi Warriors custodian has been under supervision by his coaching in the Nigerian top flight.
Keshi also considers Obiazor as "a talent" who deserves an opportunity with the African champions.
"We have been monitoring the Nigerian league and we see that the keeper of El-Kanemi is a talent, that is why we want to give him a trial. We will see how it turns out when he arrives camp,” Keshi said.
The other goalkeepers called up by Keshi are Austin Ejide and Chigozie Agbim.
Nigeria's Super Eagles begin their defence of their Afcon title against Congo in Calabar this weekend.
